Latest in the post today (thanks to my old german pal

Types 9 and 25D. Unusual type 25D as it seems to be made in aluminium rather than the standard steel case?
Also note the blanked out selector switch and the unusual recessed fuze boss top? Maybe its a manufacturers own design as its the same as a type 57 fuze also made by 'edr' (Sachsenwerk Licht u.Kraft A-G. Radeeberg/Sa.)
The type 9 is undated but has the two dots next to ELAZ denoting cold weather useage.
Anyone know the significance of the red band around the middle of the body please?
