German WW1 7,7 cm with KZ 14

Hello

I got this German 7,7 cm with KZ 14 some 2 weeks ago it is painted red i gues its not the right color !
Can anyone help me out with the right color for it please ??

Hi Dave,
The 1914 pattern HE shell (K.Gr.14) which was made of cast iron was painted red.

hoi,
the 7,7 cm mod "K.Gr.14" (lengt 24,2 cm) and "K.Gr.15" (lengt 24,3 cm) with the fuze "K.Z.14 n/a" are red paint and has only HE charge. the "K.Gr.16" (lengt 26,4 cm) with fuze "K.Z.14" is paint blue and the charge is "Gr.Kzr" (Toxic). there is also mod "Ig.F.K.Gr." (lengt 31,3 cm), blue with "Gr.Krzr".

yes i have maybe around 12 german 7,7 cm Shell cases and i would fill them up with projektiles to get the old shape back and maybe to fill one of my amo boxes for it to display the old view !!
