Hello,

I'm looking for informations (pictures, diagrams) on the ww1 German "leuchtbombe" used with doppz.08 (mechanical artillery time fuze modified).

Regards

I have only this drawing that includes a few more details.

and generally about ww1 German flares:
"Germany Leuchtbombe mit Fallschirm was produced in 60 cm and 90 cm varieties and burned for about two minutes when deployed from a height of 300 to 400 meters. Another flare was much used by naval airships over the North Sea, illuminating only upon contact with water".

However I strongly suspect that this is the same bomb as described in this patent, deposed by HERMANN WEIFFENBACH MUNITIONS from hamburg in 1918 (and granted in 1921 by the Austrian Patents authority) - the darwing looks rather similar
