This is located in a former Kent coal mine village of lower Eythorne near Dover on Wigmore lane, the building was once i think the White Horse Pub, its a bed and breakfast now.

The first time i noticed this was about 25 years ago before we all carried cameras and it was still a pub, i stopped and was looking at the bomb case when the landlord come out and told me the story.

This was dropped on the former colliery of Tilmastone just up the road the royal engineers were called as coal production was essential resource and it went through the tea hut which the miners see as most valuable place on site, the Engineers dug out and defused the bomb gave the case to the miners who cut the case in there engineering shop and placed the bomb as the corner guard of there drinking hole.
