Hi all,

Just wondering if anyone knew what gun would have fired this projectile? I think the fuze is possibly a made up piece.

Any help greatly appreciated.

Hi Spitace41,
it must be a 5,2 cm Gr. L/2,7 for 5,2 cm S.K. L/55 gun (2 driving bands, lenght without fuze 139mm - check it!). There is also a 5cm gun and projectiles in the Imperial German Navy but that shells only have 1 driving band (Lenght without fuze: 154mm)
