Yes I think so. The Granatenwerfer projectiles came unassembled in boxes and the tailfins had to be fitted in the field..Dano
 
Sorry to revive this....

The C-spanner is for removing/replacing the spigot. The fins were pre-attached. It was armed by installing the top percussion cap and shoving the propellent cartridge up inside the shaft.
