Hi Andy,
Your lever is from a British L2A1/L2A2 HE Fragmentation Grenade, which was in use up until quite recently. It has now been superseded by the Swiss made L109A1 grenade. Later on tonight I will see if I can find a picture for you, unless someone beats me to it!
