Yes Spotter it's a submunition.
What i found out they had 2 or 3 of them in there planes to protect them selfs.
It had a Grenade fuze USRG but modified to 3 sec delay when the parachute opend it will pull the fuze and at a speed of 270 km/h it will det. about 40-55m under them and about 280-320m behind them.
