Gun striker mechanism ID?

Can anyone identify this gun striker/firing pin assembly?

It has "AN" Australian WW2 era part numbers stamped along with British(?) proof markings.

Not one I recognise. Although AN does not mean Australian Navy (as it's also stamped on land service gun parts), it is possibly from a naval gun.
