An unusually long (3 hours) but very well made biopic of Ruth Gruber https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ruth_Gruber who escorted 1000 Jewish refugees from war torn Naples to New York City in 1944 https://www.imdb.com/title/tt0250862/. Crammed onto a Liberty ship for a 2 week voyage, with people speaking different languages with multiple conflicts within the refugee body and with wounded American soldiers, Gruber (promoted to a rank of a general) had to deal with numerous problems, German bombers and U-boats included. A well presented piece of IIWW history.
