Hi all,

Russian hs 1.jpg This is the head of a 1902-dated 75x660R Russian Naval Canet gun case. Can anybody identify the maker for me, and tell me anything about them, please?

What does the "HB" monogram over an anchor signify? Inspector's mark?? What about the other markings? The main reason I bought it was the "CF" mark, which as far as I know was solely a British Commonwealth mark to indicate a Full charge of Cordite. Can anyone give me an authoratative reason for its presence (all I have is suspicions at the moment!).

Thanks in advance,

Roger.
