Hello everyone


I try to identify the English bomb. I think this is an anti submarine bomb about 1,000 Lbs.
Anyone know this bomb it, you have drawings and we know the fuze.

I found the identification of this bomb. This is a GP 4000 Lbs MK1.
I had information about its use in anti underwater fight ...

The documentation about MkII mentions details of MkI
Nice bomb my friend.
It could be interesting to know what fuze were used on rear side ? No 47 ?

AP 1661B (January 1944) (The official RAF publication) only lists No. 42 for the Nose and No. 30 for the tail. Whilst there is reference in the main text as regards the rear oblique pockets, there is no mention of what pistols were to be used.
