Help identify fuze

Can anyone help me identify this fuze. It appears to be a PD fuze, the tapered part is 120mm long and the diameter, 67mm. It has an M40x2.0 thread. It has no markings apart from an inert stamping.

I have been trying to identify this fuze for years (found in France).

Thanks for the input. I cant find any ordnance using a 40mm fuze pocket, it doesnt seem to be a common size.

No, it was picked up at the Malvern fair. It probably came in from mainland Europe.
