I can confirm this is a Romanian Gruson 53 shell of French manufacture, same as in this topic: https://www.bocn.co.uk/threads/id-shell.103343/#post-316565
However, It's interesting to note that, while the lenght with a 24/31 Mle.1914 "I" sys. Peuch is indeed 166mm as per the schema below, the diameters as measured are slightly off-nominal - they should be the ones in the drawing, because I based that directly on the manual and it's been confirmed by existing examples from various collections.
I wonder if this is a shell which failed inspection and was then taken home as a souvenir. After all, the colour is wrong too, since we know these French manufactured shells were grey and we even have an extant example in original paint in a Romanian museum.
