Help Me ! Identify BOMB in Thailand

Many of the features make me wonder if it is a bomb at all. If you accept that the center piece is a suspension lug (I doubt it) then the bomb is very small and poorly made. No possibility for a tail fuze, no obvious opening (by your photo) for a nose fuze.

What appears to be a suspension lug is too far from the body, and would allow for significant movement of the bomb. This would be likely to damage any aircraft that tried to carry it, unless they had large amounts of bracing.

Just my opinion.

Looks like something similar to a downrigger ball used to sink fishing nets or trolling lines.
Just another opinion.

I think Jolly green's on the right track, Maritime purpose, looks like some sort of paravane to be towed behind a boat.
Maybe for measurement equipment?
