Help needed please

I have a 450 Adams cartridge which has the headstamp F. J. 450 and I wondered if anyone could advise on the maker please. I can't find any record of such a stamp .

The "F.J." stands for Frank Joyce, who made ammunition for small-arms and shotguns in the 1900s.
