It's an Italian B4 Tree mine. The other side has protruding spikes like a bed of nails, to be pushed into a tree trunk. The thin sheet metal cover on the left side would conceal the tripwires that are made of colored thread on wooden spools. There is a thread here on BOCN that shows it.
