Help needed to identify a 150mm projectile

Hi a relative has homework to identify a projectile shaped like the normal 25 pdr round it is 150mm bases ejection (smoke maybe) fuse is 211 driving band is 35mm across.

Any suggestions as to it's history very welcome.
