Saw this item for sale. Approximately 80 cm in height.

I seem to remember a very small photo which looked like these being dropped from a S A built Cheeta.

I had the tail of the one you are asking about a few years ago. It was made by a small division of BAE at either Hoddesden or Hatfield in Hertfordshire. I used to know an engineer at Duxford who worked there. I have a feeling that previously they had been Hunting Aviation. We are going back to the early 1980's so the memory is a bit faded!

So would these have been used with the Buccaneer, or would they also have been used with the Mirage aircraft as well ?
 
They were made by HUNTING ENGINEERING Ltd, HODDESDON, HERTS - Airborne Weapon Systems.

Think they were bought out in 1991.
