mystery solved...images are here
well, searching trough very poor info i have on pre wwi and wwi hand grenades i concluded that i didn't find no german M17 eihandgrenate, but serbian grenade M 17/25 with percussion fuse which was developed by colonel miodrag vasic and first used on grenades 'VTZ-Vasić M-12/25' which were rectangular and famous by the fact that they were used in assassination of archduke frantz ferdinand in sarajevo on 28 of july 1914.
grenades M-12/25 are first adopted in serbian military in 1912 and used in 1st and 2nd balcan war and wwi. variations of fuse developed for this grenade are with modifications used on different models of serbian and yugoslav grenades as M-35, M-38 and M-50 and M-52.
The Serbian egg grenades are generally found with no markings, if body original. the Czech version will have kkor24 stamped side above grip ring with additional stamp below ring. the Czech version is the only other side stamped egg I know of beside the "HEH" stamped on side of m1917 German egg grenade...Dano
