Found this one on t'internet, no idea where it is, but I'm sure that somebody who lives near it can identify the area from the background.
 
Although not actually a collection box, this is one of several mines around HMS Caroline in Belfast.

The mines shown are of a variety of types, using mostly the standard british cupola (also of several variants).
Depending on the type, the mine systems would have had acid-horns ("hertz"-horns), electrical switch-horns or no horns at all (ie influence mines).
 
Found another one hiding in Beer yesterday!
