This came in today unexpectedly as a throw in on a trade deal. I think it may be a fuze container but not sure. As can be seen in pics the base unscrews and it's made of Bakelite. The top is embossed ZUNDERBACHSE. It measures 5 1/4 inches tall - 2 5/8 inches across base - 1 1/2 inches across top. Is it a fuze container, what era etc....Dano

Hello dano,
please check your ZNDERBCHSE at the smaller top part for the number in the circle. Your Znderbchse should have a 1 or 2 in the circle. There are at least 2 variations with different spacing inserts inside the Z... for the different fuzes.

Thanks

Hi guys, thanks for information. Mine has a 1 in the circle on top. If possible i'd like to know which fuze goes with this container, I don't collect WW2 stuff but I really like this piece and would like to obtain the correct fuze for it. Dano
