Good day Gents,

An other puzzle to me as I never see something like this. I do not know why I'm tinking shot round even if I there is no visible driving band. Actually I'm not even sure if it's a piece of ammunition.
Seem to be around 10-12 inch long and maybe 3-4 inch diameter. Again, I apologize for the lack of information given here as I did not see the piece for myself yet.
Like I said, I'm not even sure if it's a piece of concrete or metal.
As always, any help would be appreciated. Thank you.

The tapered threads look to be for a drilling (water/oil) pipe, although they are generally hollow. Cut off, for whatever reason.

I agree with Rick, if the tapered part is threaded. It looks like the specfic tapered threaded end to a drill rod.
