Heydrich Grenade

Never mind Norman.
I had a Commanding Officer who on a celebratory occasion, emptied his whole .380" Webley up in the air.
He then refilled the cylinder and started again, but this time the round functioned but the cylinder would not turn because the bullet had only partially entered the barrel.
It was found that instead of rimmed .380" revolver rounds,he had used rimless .38 ACP ammunition.
All the bullets were still in the barrel and had to be drilled out by REME.

Hello,

I saw a new French film on Reinhard Heydrich "HHhH" and the part about the grenade preparation is ridiculous.
I'm really sorry for those (specialist) who watch this movie !
Something like a a lightbulb filled powder and fuzed with a percuted fuze 24-31 RYG (artillery/mortar) from 60's (typical improved version with safety pin) !!
The french version of the legend !!
