Here are a few photos taken at the Higgins Heritage Park just out of Wakefield near Nelson in the South Island of New Zealand. It is worth a visit if you are in the area. I saw a Willies Jeep, GMC Truck, Austin Jeep, and an Oerlikon 20mm Mk4 AA Gun in mint condition and the Army Group Centre has a heap of gear held off site.
The Army Group Centre has original German, US & New Zealand vehicles, uniforms and weapons and hold a Military Action Day on the 1st Sunday in May.
The park is fully operational on the first Sunday of every month with a few exceptions. Ring first if you are passing through to find out and also check out their website.
