If like me you're into post war American experimental cannon rounds this book is hard to beat. Written by Dale M Davis the full title of the book is
"Historical development summary of automatic cannon caliber ammunition: 20-30m for the period 1952-1983".

According to the book Dale Davis was associated with or involved with or in responsible charge of all air force gun and ammunition research and development from Oct 1952 to his retirement in February 1984.

The book is over 200 pages long and contains a vast amount of invaluable information that you're unlikely to find anywhere else in one book. The photographs are not brilliant but nevertheless it is an excellent book.

I got my copy from Lew Curtis of GIG Concepts Inc, I've included contact details, as far as I know they're still available.

HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.

Dave.

The book is also avail. as a free download from Scribd service IF you upload some similar item you have on your computer. Otherwise you will need to pay a fee. I downloaded the pdf which seems to be defective file as my computer only gives me an error message. The text tile downloads fine but then sentences are somewhat jumbled and no photos, but one can make out what the author is trying to say.

Search for the title in Google and the Scribd holding should be at the top of the list.
