history of my Webley MKII

I recently inherited a Webley.. it appears by the stamp to be a MKII. It has been bored out for 45, but is in absolutely golden condition.

I'm interested in learning more about it.. how do I interpret the marks/stamps on it? Your help is appreciated.

Thanks so much
