Holtzmine42 shearing pins

Studying the Holtzmine 42 of late, such a variation between pictures and drawings its quite unbelievable. I came across the shearing flange, pushed down by the pressure block that moves the Z42 igniter pin to fire the charge. The flange being 14mm thick according to the drawings but contradicts itself as they state that the two wooden shear pins that hold the flange in place are 5/8 or 15.8mm thick, thicker than the flange itself. In another drawing the pins are smaler than the flange about 8mm. Anyone know the correct size?

Hi BMG 50,

My sources say that the diameter of the shear pins is about 10 mm (.4 in.), but looking at the drawing attached it seems lesser than 10 mm and perharps than 8 mm also.

I wonder the sort of wood the shear pins where made of.
It should have been a strong hardwood to ensure the trigger weight of 200kg.

I think about 8 or 10mm and in a hard wood, would sound about right.

Looking at the picture of the shearing flange with the angled edges would they be the same as the VB Holtz mine? And what would be the spacing between the pins?
