So HS48 is the gun? I didn't know that.

While this was intended for use by the HS 804, it would not have been used in an aircraft gun (risk of the sabot petals getting sucked into the engine). The gun which fired this ammo was mounted on a light armoured vehicle, and was intended to engage similar.
