This is a 20x139mm steel case necked down to cal. .50. The case is now about 155mm high. It has a GM clad steel jacketed bullet. Apparently this was never part of a design program by Hughes, but it was made as a mock-up to show modification of an existing round into a hypervelocity cartridge. I have no other information. If anyone can share anything further it would be appreciated.
