Canadian military in Afghanistan http://www.imdb.com/title/tt4034452/, dirt, modern warfare, coded battle language, more dirt, bad locals (Taliban), good locals (?), IED's, rocks, mountains, even more dirt... I guess it is realistic. What is not realistic is a Canadian officer using "f" word talking to local war lords who also speak English. If you like helos, rapid fire and dirt everywhere, this is your movie.

For those who have seen this movie, the fable of Alexander the Great sending a bag of Afghani dirt to his mother is a made up local lore (according to the experts) even though it sounds great and explains a lot of things about Middle East.
