HZ14 fuze - WW2?

Hello from France

A friend from work gave me a "small piece of metal found in the Andaine Forest" in Normandy.I think it's a German HZ14 fuze. Is that correct?

This is obviously a World War II area. What weapon could this fuze have been used by during World War II?
