ID 47mm

ID projectile
I recently acquired this projectile, but I don't know what I have here ?
: 47mm
lenght : 195mm
materials : point = wood
body = steel
bottom = bakelite
Its hollow inside with a steel sleeve on the outside which can be rotated about 1/8 of a turn
to close or open the 3 vent holes in the sleeve.
Can somebody ID this please ?

Looks like the head of a 'Bangalore torpedo',an explosive charge pushed under barricades/wire entanglements.
Search on here ,there are a few postings.
