What is this case ?
Is it a ww1 British Navy 3in case ?
Found filled in deep water (ocean).

Length 390mm - Diam base 103mm - Diam top plugged 80mm

Looks like a 12 Pdr 12cwt with that primer and length.

Hi.... Its a 12pdr 12cwt case with transport cap.... It should have a square wooden block on the end of the cap for transportation

(same internal arrangement as Mk2, two cardboard discs on top and the small igniter bag - not exactly same transport cap)
