id for this crazy thingy?

Hi to all,
looking for help with a positive id on this one please,did wonder if it was a made up jobbie but have some distant recollection of seeing one of these,or something very similar,it is roughly .450" and I do mean roughly and has a very thin rim profile.

Looks like one of those cap gun bullets.

what Rick says its for a toy ,i had one a few years back identified on here..made by or for the Lone Star toy company if i remember correctly
