ID french 37mm

Hello,
Does anyone have info about this piece?
For me its a french 37 mm but has 3 holes(smoke?).
Is it WW1?

Correct, it's a model of cigar cutter. Different model exist. I have another, shall post pictures soon.
Some french factories made them as "public relation" gifts !

Maybe one of those incendiary anti-zeppelin projectiles. As for the "cigar-cutter", I agree, they're usually one larger hole, not three that appear too small to be effective for that function. The only smoke shells reference I could find had 6 holes.
