ID: German 8,8cm WW1?

Total lenght: 23cm, apparently no fuze/adaptor-thread (anymore?)
Markings: on the side 6104 Kr (Kr=Krupp?), on the base: 12.
I'm thinking in the direction of 8,8cm shrapnell for 8,8cm SK C95 or zugflak?
So, who can identify this shell? Diagram/picture?

It was a 8,8 cm Granatshrapnell.
