Artifices fumigènes Mle 59 de Défense Rapprochée d'Engins Blindés (DREB).

Machine translation = Mle 59 smoke bombs for close defense of armored vehicles (DREB).

I presumed HC is short for 'hexachloroethane', which is a smoke composition. HC only represents part of the composition, with the other components generally being zinc oxide, and some granular/powdered aluminium.

Just for note, the similar but smaller grenades being loaded into a launcher are likely Ruggieri type, also known as CAPIRO 50.

These are a lot smaller than the 80 mm ARF FUM Mle 59 you seem to have.
