Hello, small projectile (30 mm x 150 mm) found today in Belgium.
Perhaps it is a sub-calibre mortar?
Top can also unscrew this ( message holder? )
Do you have any idea?
The last photo shows the same object in a collection in the US.
So it’s not a unique piece.
thx !!

It is my item on the right, I have no identification yet, so hopefully you find something for both of us.

Hihi, great. Thanks for the photo then. ;)
There is an object inside. When you shake the object, you actually perceive movement and noise.

Problems, it is currently under preffusion of WD40, but it will be complicated to open without damaging it.

ps; Of course, the manipulations are done by Eod, (Belgian Eod Group) .

some news ,
the projectile has finally been opened.
Definitely not a messenger.
Inside, we find what looks strongly like a booster, the object is also hollow (charge?)
There is a tilt of the tail (rotation or effect for ballistics?)

The head pitch has an anti-horological .
anti-unscrewing that protects against the rotation of the projectile...
