Hi,

I'm hoping that some one can tell me what shell this is please, the date first used and the gun? I'm thinking it's German as it has an 04 fuse in it but the fuse is unfired.

It's 118 mm diameter,
250 mm long plus a 33 mm stepping ring,
driving bands are 15 mm wide and the lower is 15 mm from the base and the base is flat,
Fuse thread 45 mm.

Thanks Jim

Sorry 18pounder It just thick black paint which someone has brushed on, brushed on been an understatement!!!!! so I'm going to restore it when I get the right colour and marking for it.
