found these today there seems to be a lot of them on the site i am detecting at the moment they dont look to be dangerouse as they are just a empty tube hollow all the way through

does anybody know what the two outside bits are the tag is a war department key tag i am stuck on these two bits at the mo got no id on them so can not research them thanks

Perhaps the site location you found them might be a hint to the origin of
these items. BTW, what are the dimentions of these tube things?
