ID please.

Afternoon all,I have been tasked with making information sheets on all the items currently held in the our museum here in Edinburgh. A lot of the items have been pretty straight forward but this one has me stumped I can't seem to find information out anywhere. It is recorded as a 2.5lb practice bomb.Any help identifying it would be much apreciated.

unfortunately so far ive not been able to find anything else on it ,hopefully one of the other members will be able to provide a positive identification with documentation

It is indeed a small RAF practice bomb from the 1920's . They came in various sizes & the RAF Museum at Hendon has a display case of them . If you contact the museum they can probably help with more info & they are usually very helpful .
