Dear collectors,


I recently found what I believe is a beautiful 18-pounder shell. Could anyone tell me more about it? It looks like a World War I shrapnel shell, but I’d love to hear your thoughts and any additional information you might have. I’m curious to learn more!

It is. Empty body of a fired ww1 18Pr shrapnel. Very very common on french ww1 battlefields. Lot of piles in the french farms. No value.
Always sent for recycling.
