Hello,
I have a wood signal drift with same shape as AN-MK4 but with different fins.
I really don't know if it's homemade or correct combo (?)

I have an AIRCRAFT FLOAT LIGHT MK IV like your bottom picture. Had investigated it/them back when I acquired this one. I do not recall ever seeing fins like the top pic. Maybe homemade. If so, props to the builder. Nice work.

This is extremely interesting - where did you find this bomb? This may be the key to this picture that has been puzzling me for a long time - the plane is a French Late 298, date is unknown but may well be in the 1943-1946 period - To the best of my knowledge such an equipment was not produced by the French but could this be a local adaptation of an US float to better fit the Michelin flare rack?
