Ident please - WW2 German?

This appears to be some type of bore guage or 'tool' for the 12.7cm SK C/34 gun. It's made of steel in good condition but the stamping is difficult to read. I think it reads:

"Lehre fd. Absrd zwisc??? Patronenanl Stahlplatte min 7,0"

Very heavy. Any ideas?

Translation

The Translation as per your stamps are as follow

Gauge for Space between Round resting steel plate min 7 mm

it could be anything to adjust the space for the closing block of the gun !
