Identification help please.

Hi guys,

Id like some help in identifying a Tail Fin if possible. I believe it to be from either a 82mm mortar or 82mm Recoilless Rifle Grenade.


It doesn't match my own reference as I would only expect the outer ring on a Recoilless Grenade to cover the entire height of the fins.

Any help gratefully received.

Typically the recoilless projectiles have the rings around the fins like your example, and the mortar rounds don't.

To be exact it is a Chinese 75 mm Type 52 HEAT round for a recoilles rifle, Afghanistan ?.
