Hello everyone,
A quick question regarding identification: I just received a photo of a found item from a friend at another department. Based purely on its appearance, it appears to be the effective charge of a battlefield illumination flare or a light grenade. However, it could also be a smoke grenade. In any case, it appears to be of military origin.
The object is under official control and has been securely stored for the time being.
Nevertheless, a definitive identification would be helpful.
As for the dimensions, I only know that the diameter is supposed to be about 10 cm. However, as I was told, this is an estimate and not a measurement
Any information is welcome.
Many thanks and best regards
