Ikara. A ship launched anti-submarine missile. Australian design, late 1950s. In service 1960s-90s with the Australian Navy, the Royal Navy and others.
 
Just had a look at Wikipedia and that seems to have a decent write-up:

There is even a photo of the same Ikara you posted, at the bottom of the page. It's ancient history now. First and last time I saw one was at BAC (later, BAe) Filton, pre-Falklands.
