Identification

That particular view of the projectile is extremely hard to deduce anything about the projectile. Please take a photo straight on with the lens perpendicular to the side of the projectile so we can see the proper profile of the body. In an isometric angled view like that it is impossible to tell how tall the projo is compared to its width and its shape. Many projos can be identified by their shape, and this view doesn't show the shape.

Also, are there any numbers stamped into the steel body of the projectile? What are they?
 
It says it is a 155mm....it also states it is XL series,which in the UK numbering system would mean experimental,apart from that no help I'm afraid as big bits arn't my bag!
