I attended a scrap yard in Lincoln to investigate 2 x 500lb Mk82 aircraft bombs, that turned up under a load of scrap. It can be frightening what turns up in scrap yards...

I pulled a couple of full up Livens projectors out of a dump in Maryland back in the 90's, 5 inch WP projos in a garbage dump in the Aleutians, and 2.36" rockets in Anchorage (and one highly pissed off moose).

Garbage dumps and scrapyards = job security. :tinysmile_shy_t:
